Nindo Stats

Stat Definitions

Character Only Stats

Chakra: Your Character's stamina and gauge of energy they have for techniques and abilities. This also determines the Speed of Activation for abilities & techniques/jutsu without Hand Seals; excluding Genjutsu, Taijutsu & Fuuinjutsu. Chakra stat decides the level of Genjutsu that can be broken with the appropriate Intelligence stat. (User Only Stat)

Dexterity: This stat determines your character's hand movement speed for hand seals and weaponry control. Dexterity determines how many hand signs you can create before a target can hit you at x distances (List define). The Speed of the activation of techniques/jutsu is also determined by Dexterity. (User Only Stat)

Jutsu/Technique Only Stats

Power: The "Power" of certain abilities, weapons, and techniques is defined differently among them. Genjutsu Power is considered by the Intelligence stat. Taijutsu Power is considered by the Strength stat. All Ninjutsu have a Power stat. (Jutsu Only)

Unique Character & Jutsu/Technique Stats

Speed: This stat determines how fast movement is; including Character and Jutsu. Speed determines how fast your character can dodge, perform Taijutsu; and how fast your technique travels or makes the user move. This base Speed stat is treated as greater than any Sub-type of Speed when any clashes occur.

Sub-types of Speed are types of speed based on different stats which include:

  • Activation Speed of Abilities & Techniques/Jutsu without Hand Seals (Chakra Stat)
  • Activation Speed of Techniques/Jutsu with Hand Seals (Dexterity Stat)
  • Reaction Speed (Strength Stat) (Only used Defensively)
  • Speed of Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu Release (Intelligence Stat)

Strength: This stat determines how much force is exerted on an object. Strength determines the damage that attacks deal from Jutsu or Character. This is also considered your Character's reaction speed to attacks. (User & Taijutsu/Bukijutsu Stat)

Intelligence: This stat determines how sophisticated Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu are; in essence how much power they have. Intelligence determines the level of Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu the user can recognize while under it's effects. This also classifies which rank of techniques your character can be aware of. (User & Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu Stat)

Durability: This stat determines how much Power something can withstand before it is destroyed or dies. (User & Ninjutsu Stat)

Stat Tiers

No Skill (Academy Student, E-Rank: Tier 1): Having ‘No Skill’ means you simply fail in that stat. You are trumped by anyone with a higher stat in this area.

Practitioner (Genin, D-Rank: Tier 2): Being a Practitioner means you can simply use that stat but not to anything beyond that. You are still trumped by anyone with a higher stat in this area.

Adept (Chunin, C-Rank: Tier 3):
Being an Adept means you have used this stat enough to where you are now capable of greater feats. You are still trumped by anyone with a higher stat in this area.

Expert (Special Jounin, B-Rank: Tier 4):
Being an Expert means you are well-versed in that given stat. You can use whichever stat to a level beyond that of an average ninja, however, are still trumped by anyone with a higher stat in that area.

Master (Jounin, Anbu A-Rank: Tier 5):
Being a Master means you excel at that given stat, you are a Master of It; not many can compete with you in it. You are trumped by Great and Forbidden Mastery Stat levels only and matched by other Masters.

Great Mastery (Kage, S-Rank: Tier 6): Being a Great Master in any stat means you are beyond incredible at using that stat; even legendary. There are few in the ninja world that can compete with you in it. This is the second highest level of mastery, which cannot be trumped, only matched; except with Forbidden Mastery.

Forbidden Mastery (Six Paths/Hashirama, Kinjutsu Rank: Tier 7): Being a Forbidden Master in any stat means you are famous and considered a legendary Shinobi in that stat. This is the ultimate level and cannot be trumped by any other level.

Tier Levels: Tier levels in Nindo Stats generally relate to Nindo Skill in the following manner:

  • E-Rank: Tier 1 Equivalent to No Skill
  • D-Rank: Tier 2 Equivalent to Practitioner
  • C-Rank: Tier 3 Equivalent to Adept
  • B-Rank: Tier 4 Equivalent to Expert
  • A-Rank:Tier 5 Equivalent to Master
  • S-Rank: Tier 6 Equivalent to Great Master
  • Kinjutsu Rank: Tier 7 Equivalent to Forbidden Master

Note that your character does not need to be at the same Nindo Skill level as Nindo Stat Tier level; Nindo Skill just provides a measurement of your character's level of skill in a given aspect, if any at all. Nindo Stat Tiers reflect directly on how your character performs in combat IC versus another, or other combat related aspects.

Stat Clashes & Interactions

Stat Clashes and Interactions; detail what happens to Characters and their Technique's based on their Tier Level versus opposing Tier Levels and Stats.

Nindo Stats Chakra11

Chakra Costs according to Rank

Kinjutsu Rank: 1000

S-Rank: 400

A-Rank: 200

B-Rank: 100

C-Rank: 50

D-Rank: 25

E-Rank: 10

When paying Chakra to Release Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu; you pay the number of the technique’s Intelligence stat.

No Hand Seals Techniques

Chakra decides the Activation Speed of Techniques/Jutsu or Abilities without Hand Seals; akin to how Dexterity decides Activation Speed of Techniques/Jutsu with Hand Seals. When you attack someone, at Speed or Sub-Speed a certain number above the target’s Chakra stat; they cannot activate techniques/abilities with no Hand Seals based on distance: [/left]

  • 0-5 Meters: +200 Greater than opponent’s Chakra Stat [Opponent cannot activate no Hand Seals Techniques/Abilities]
  • 6-50 Meters: +400 Greater than opponent’s Chakra Stat [Opponent cannot activate no Hand Seals Techniques/Abilities]
  • 51+ Meters: +700 Greater than opponent’s Chakra Stat [Opponent cannot activate no Hand Seals Techniques/Abilities]

How many no Hand Seal Activation Abilities and Techniques/Jutsu that can be performed at once is decided by your Chakra Stat Tier Level.

Chakra Tier Levels

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Cannot perform Abilities/Techniques/Jutsu without Hand Seals.
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Can perform 1 no Hand Seal Activation Ability/Technique at once.
  • Adept (250+ Stats): Same as previous level.
  • Expert (500+ Stats): Same as previous level.
  • Master (1000+ Stats): Can perform 2 no Hand Seal Activation Abilities/Techniques at once.
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats): Can perform 3 no Hand Seal Activation Abilities/Techniques at once.
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Can perform 4 no Hand Seal Activation Abilities/Techniques at once.

Recovering Chakra

To recover Chakra one must either create or join a non-combat related topic and create 5 posts detailing how you recovered your chakra. (IE: Eating, Relaxing, Meditating) This may not be done via Flashback or Training post, but must be done IC in a present topic. Only once your 5 posts are complete will you be granted your full Chakra Nindo Stat back. 250 Words is the minimum per post and you may not perform any Jutsu/Technique or Ability during this time. (If you do your Chakra recovery will be forfeit.) Chakra absorption techniques may replenish Chakra Nindo Stat; however this is by the technique bases. Recovering Chakra does not require staff approval; however if done incorrectly will lead to voided posts. (Keep this is mind.)

Nindo Stats Dexter11

Hand Seals

Dexterity Stat Tier decides the Number of Hand Seals that can be created per post based on Dexterity. Dexterity Stats decide Activation Speed of Techniques/Jutsu with Hand Seals; based on how fast your hand movement can complete the signs.

Dexterity Tier Levels

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 50 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 25 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Adept (250+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 20 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Expert (500+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 15 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Master (1000+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 10 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats): Can create 5 Hand Seals Per 5 Dexterity Points |Per Post
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Can create Unlimited Hand Seals |Per Post

Techniques with Hand Seals

Character/Technique Speed stat versus opposing Character Dexterity stat determines if the Character is fast enough to create hand seals to activate a technique before they are hit; depending on the distance. When you attack someone, at Speed or Sub-Speed a certain number above the target’s Dexterity stat; they cannot create hand seals depending on the distance as follows:

  • 0-5 Meters: +200 Greater than opponent’s Dexterity Stat [Opponent cannot create Hand Seals]
  • 6-50 Meters: +400 Greater than opponent’s Dexterity Stat [Opponent cannot create Hand Seals]
  • 51+ Meters: +700 Greater than opponent’s Dexterity Stat [Opponent cannot create Hand Seals]

Nindo Stats Intell11

Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu

Intelligence determines how sophisticated Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu are; in essence how much Power they have. Intelligence determines the level of Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu the user can recognize while under it's effects; therefore being able to release it using their Chakra stat. This also classifies which rank of techniques and abilities your character can be aware of and how fast these techniques are implemented, in essence;

When you attack someone at Speed or Sub-Speed a certain number above the target’s/technique's Intelligence stat; they cannot activate Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu techniques based on the distance and are faster then that Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu can reach to hit them:

  • 0-5 Meters: +200 Greater than Intelligence Stat [Opponent cannot activate Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu]
  • 6-50 Meters: +400 Greater than Intelligence Stat [Opponent cannot activate Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu]
  • 51+ Meters: +700 Greater than Intelligence Stat [Opponent cannot activate Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu]

Intelligence Tier Levels

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Cannot recognized any techniques, Genjutsu/Fuuin or abilities you do not possess.
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Can recognize up to D-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon techniques and abilities up to D-Rank.
  • Adept (250+ Stats): Can recognize up to C-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon techniques and abilities up to C-Rank.
  • Expert (500+ Stats): Can recognize up to B-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon techniques and abilities up to B-Rank.
  • Master (1000+ Stats): Can recognize up to A-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon OR Custom techniques and abilities up to A-Rank.
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats): Can recognize up to S-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon OR Custom techniques and abilities up to S-Rank.
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Can recognize up to Kinjutsu-Rank Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu techniques. You are aware of Canon OR Custom techniques and abilities up to Kinjutsu-Rank.

When paying Chakra to Release Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu; you pay the number of the technique’s Intelligence stat

Nindo Stats Intera14

Strength determines how much force is exerted on an object. Strength determines the damage that attacks deal from Taijutsu, Bukijutsu or Character melee attacks. This is also considered your Character's Reaction Speed when defending an attack. Strength decides the Reaction Speed; akin to how Dexterity decides Activation Speed of Techniques/Jutsu with Hand Seals. When you attack someone, at Speed or Sub-Speed a certain number above the target’s Strength stat; they cannot use Reaction Speed to evade:

  • 0-5 Meters: +200 Greater than opponent’s Strength Stat [Opponent cannot use Reaction Speed to evade]
  • 6-50 Meters: +400 Greater than opponent’s Strength Stat [Opponent cannot use Reaction Speed to evade]
  • 51+ Meters: +700 Greater than opponent’s Strength Stat [Opponent cannot use Reaction Speed to evade]

Strength Tier Levels

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Can carry no items or weapons. Cannot use any weapons.
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Can carry 5 items or weapons.
  • Adept (250+ Stats): Can carry 10 items or weapons.
  • Expert (500+ Stats):  Can carry 15 items or weapons.
  • Master (1000+ Stats): Can carry 20 items or weapons.
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats):  Can carry 25 items or weapons.
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Can carry Unlimited items or weapons.

Nindo Stats Speedi11

Speed determines how fast movement is; including Character and Jutsu/Technique. Speed determines how fast your character can dodge, perform Taijutsu, throw weapons; and how fast your technique travels or makes the user move. This base Speed stat is treated as greater than any Sub-type of Speed when any clashes occur. The only thing that matches Speed is Speed. Whenever something moves at Speed greater than the opposing Speed the following occurs based on distance of the object;

  • 0-5 Meters: +200 Speed Greater than Speed Stat [Cannot evade using Speed]
  • 6-50 Meters: +400 Speed Greater than Speed Stat [Cannot evade using Speed]
  • 51+ Meters: +700 Speed Greater than Speed Stat [Cannot evade using Speed]

Speed Tier Levels
Not much to Tier Speed Levels except you are considered faster than the level below you whenever the situation dictates; so keep this in mind. For Speed to be meaningful, distance is the main factor to consider. Obviously, techniques with faster Speed than others will move and hit targets faster. Those with faster Sub-Speeds will determine Speed of activation. Beyond what is stated by the system; the discretion is up to staff considering extraneous situations.

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Slowest Level
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Faster than previous; matched by same level.
  • Adept (250+ Stats):  Faster than previous; matched by same level.
  • Expert (500+ Stats):   Faster than previous; matched by same level.
  • Master (1000+ Stats):  Faster than previous; matched by same level.
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats):   Faster than previous; matched by same level.
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Fastest Level; matched by same level only

Power Interactions

Power is how much damage a technique has when it lands. There are two types of Power besides base Power; Strength, and Intelligence both count as Power stats in the Nindo Stat System. Power is typically compared to the Durability of the target.

Durability Interactions

Durability is typically compared against what is considered the Power of any attack; including Strength and Intelligence based Power from Genjutsu/Fuuinjutsu or Taijutsu/Bukijutsu techniques. The main idea to know about Durability is that when Power exceeds Durability in any circumstance by the specified amounts below; it is considered fatal in the Character's case and will be destroyed in the case of a technique with Durability. Aside from the previous Durability is enhanced based on Durability Tier Levels; which describe what can and cannot be tanked.

Durability Tier Levels
Includes Technique and Character Durability

  • No Skill (50+ Stats): Can be fatally injured or mentally damaged by any Power attack. Attacks can be destroyed by any other attack logically. All mental damage from Genjutsu require 4 Posts of recovery before Chakra can be used if successfully implemented. (Recovery is in addition to the base Effects of the Genjutsu)
  • Practitioner (125+ Stats): Requires +50 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +50 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage from Genjutsu require 3 Posts of recovery before Chakra can be used if successfully implemented. (Recovery is in addition to the base Effects of the Genjutsu)
  • Adept (250+ Stats):  Requires +75 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +75 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage from Genjutsu require 2 Posts of recovery before Chakra can be used if successfully implemented. (Recovery is in addition to the base Effects of the Genjutsu)
  • Expert (500+ Stats):   Requires +100 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +100 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage from Genjutsu requires 1 Post of recovery before Chakra can be used if successfully implemented. (Recovery is in addition to the base Effects of the Genjutsu)
  • Master (1000+ Stats): Requires +200 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +200 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage does not require recovery posts. (Still susceptible to base Effects of Genjutsu)
  • Great Master (2000+ Stats): Requires +400 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +400 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage does not require recovery posts. (Still susceptible to base Effects of Genjutsu)
  • Forbidden Master (3000 Stats): Requires +800 Power beyond Durability to fatally injure or mentally damage. Requires +800 Power beyond Technique Durability to destroy. Mental damage does not require recovery posts. (Still susceptible to base Effects of Genjutsu)

Stacking Stats with Abilities, Nindo Skill & Jutsu/Techniques

Stat boosts via Nindo Skill do not count towards this rule. Abilities may only boost stats a maximum of 200. Jutsu/Techniques that boost stats will count toward your overall max stats for that technique/jutsu. (IE: Your 200 stats for E-Rank ninjutsu would be counted toward that stat boost.) Boosting stats caps at a maximum of 200.

Upgrading Stats

Stats may be trained at the rate of 200 Words = 5 Stat points. Ryo may not be used for stat training. Simply divide the total words by 200 and multiply the result by 5. Your training post needs to be relevant to the stat you are training and may only be done IC. You may not train stats via flashback.
