Personality Description: Despite how she appears, Ace is actually normally pretty cold to people that she doesn't know, and seldom speaks to anyone that she doesn't deem to be worth her time. Basically, she's developed a shell to avoid being bullied or assaulted again, and she doesn't trust anybody to not be Kagaru Minami. Beyond the shell, Ace is a sweet, if not manipulative, girl who always strives to do her best. She devotes most of her efforts to impressing and satisfying Noro in any way she can even though he doesn't seem to pay her much attention. When her temper gets the best of her, she can become incredibly violent and excessively morbid.

History:[/b] Kagaru Minami... A name that haunts Ace no matter where she runs. He is a long descendant of a family of nobles who was torn apart by the Toromaki clan. A very small number of people are actually aware of who he is, and no one knows why he haunts the Toromaki clan, but over the past three years it has become very apparent that he devotes much of his attention to the heiress of the clan, Ace Toromaki. He means to study her habits, murder her, and replace her in secret by using her body as a disguise, then destroy the clan from the inside out. Throughout her entire childhood he seemed to be watching her, although no one had ever discovered him doing so until Ace was 8, and he'd never made physical contact with her until she was 12. Ace knows that no matter where she goes, Kagaru could very well be right behind her, impersonating anyone, waiting for the ideal opportunity rip the spider from her web.

Aside from the phantom that stalks the heiress, Ace's life has been mostly favorable to her. Despite her family's cruel tendencies, when Ace proved to be a timid and physically weak child she was not looked upon as a weak insect or a useless maiden, nor was she stripped of her rights to the title of heiress of the Toromaki family. Instead she was merely sheltered and treated like a young princess. This led many to accuse her father of being weak and unfit for being head of the clan, but he proved far too intimidating to the other clan members to instigate any true opposition, however Ace's cousins were particularly resentful of her for the special treatment she received. Later on, this resentment led to occasional bullying that intensified over time. At one point, Ace snapped and strangled one of her cousins nearly to death. Even though she'd always be pampered by her father, Ace was no longer considered incapable of carrying her duties and was enrolled in the academy as a Shinobi in training.

Life continued normally for Ace, despite the occasional visits from Kagaru Minami, until graduation drew near. A boy in her class had begun bullying her, just like her cousins had when she was a child. She was being picked on for being too girly to be a real ninja. The difference between this time and when she was a child was that her new bully was far more capable than she was, and when she lost her temper she was met with considerable opposition. The two were in an ally after school, as Ace had been followed when she decided to take a shortcut home. He shouted some slanderous term at her and she turned to strike him only to be restrained. When she had figured he was going to break her nose she felt his lips against hers. Ace immediately panicked to no avail. She knew what was coming and she knew she couldn't stop it. However, just because she couldn't stop it didn't mean that someone else couldn't. Ace had given up and prepared for the worst, but before she knew it, Noro Kanen was standing over her, holding out a hand, the other boy nowhere in sight.

Since then, Ace never left Noro's side as long as she could help it, whether or not he knew she was there. This of course, frustrated Kagaru Minami, but it just made him all the more persistent.
