Lion's Tiger's and Kuro, oh my! [D Ranked Mission]

Post by Danica on Sat Jul 11, 2015 11:36 am

mission:
Name: Capture That Animal!
Rank: D-Rank
Issuer: Daimyo
Description: Your Country’s Daimyo seems to be fascinated by rare and exotic wild animals, and thus keeps a Zoo for these animals within your village. It seems that many of the Zoo Keepers cannot keep up with the animals, and some have escaped within your village.
Objectives: Capture each animal without harming it, and bring it back to the Daimyo’s Zoo.
Requirements:

Capture the following; 1 Lion, 1 Tiger, 1 Elephant, 1 Wild Boar, 1 Anaconda, and 1 Rhyno
At least 3 Posts
1000 Total Words Req.

Reward: 200 Ryo

Danica Waited at the point she had told Kuro to meet her at( Outside the zoo), by this time the wound she had suffered on their previous mission was healed up nicely, and she was able to have full use of her arm. Danica waited quietly wondering if  Kuro had gotten the memo she sent out about picking up extra Ninja wire.   They were likely going to need it there were animals rampaging  she had gotten  a Description of the animals before and was now waiting for kuro to show up, when he did she would smile at him, and start to brief him on the Details “  there is 5 animals in total out in our village  today.  There is a lion, A tiger and a Boar. “she ran her thumb nail along her bottom lip as she often did while thinking. “ and an Elephant a Rhino and   it was a . ummm oh right yes a Snake. She said recalling the animal.

They all were in the near by market district. By now all the people had evacuated and the gates were sealed “ they have them sealed off, but the market district is rather big.  But then again so are the animals, I know your not the biggest fan of not hurting things on missions but this is a purely a Retrieval mission. Like picking up a package or an Escort mission” she reasoned “Regardless don’t hurt the animals, if you don’t have any questions I think we should go for the Larger ones first, they will likely be doing the most Property damage” She waited for a moment to see if he did have a question, if he did she would answer it before leaving.  But  after that she started to run  her Feet pushed off the cobble and she was off her White dress still showed traces if where the blood had settled. She hadn’t worn it out since, mostly ashamed by her actions, and because it was a wreckage now.  She didn’t mind wearing it for her mission though, animals sounds like a dirty Task. Why ruin another set of cloths.
Danica Stopped At the Market District gate, she opened it enough to let her and Kuro in  Allowing Kuro to go first  before closing it behind them, she was a bit skeptical on how they were getting something like a Elephant back, its not like Kuro could carry it back . .  . or could he?

Kuro didn't even bother bringing his main offensive weapon with him, knowing damn well that this female was going to take another mission that required a gentler touch he left it in the care of his clan-mates who lived somewhere in a unknown location that wasn't in the village or even anywhere near the village itself. Completely unable to be tracked...due to being sealed up somewhere. He stood with his typical outfit on, though this time it was dull gray. He approached his comrade in arms and nodded to her as she brief him on the mission, he did roll his eyes however. The fact that she even had to remind him made him feel a bit...disappointed. He only lost his cool because it was a human who had attacked her, someone who he had deemed to be on the borderline of evil. It didn't matter though, when she took off he was right behind her as he typically managed to be. Eyes lowered to a certain degree that was both obvious and unseen due to her prioritizing the task instead of her word choice.

"I guess I get to see you handle a snake, so it's worth not killing anyone." He paused for only a moment realizing the content of his comment, but ignored it and continued. "Alright, given the high number of targets I do agree. IF we are starting with the elephant we might need to incapacitate it should it rampage. Do you have your Genjutsu in working order?." He assumed that she did in fact have all of her stamina back from their last outing, but he wanted to be doubly sure.

He pulled on his belt loop and took out the ninja wire, using a special braiding technique similar to the one on his head it was clear that his wires were thickened up by the knotting format. This was to make sure that the super thin wires didn't saw right through the body parts of the animals that they were trying to hunt down. He didn't really have any idea where these animals could have gone, especially the smaller creatures. He didn't do anything other than suggest a course of action should things turn out to be a little more difficult than he originally anticipated.

"If this gets too hectic once we hit the smaller animals, we might have to split up, keep that in mind." He continued to wrap the wire around his hand.

Danica Paused for a moment at the mentioned of the snake. She Smirked and continued on until she was asked if her Genjutsu was all sorted out.  She thought so, but then again she thought she had it perfected up until the point she got a Gash in her arm.  She Nodded slowly “I Believe so” She said, having her doubts of how effective her Art would be on animals.  She had never tired it on an animal before, she never had the need to.

Danica Walked forwards with kuro She first looked around and Surprisingly in the Market district it didn’t seem like there was any animals in  it, but that didn’t seem to make sense.  She didn’t have an Visual  on any of them, it seemed that she would use her Sensory technique to help out.

Danica Kneeled down and held her Right hand against the Ground, the other hand held the hand sign of the fox as she Sent Pulsating Chakra Waves along the ground. She could Sense Kuro standing behind her well. And the hustle and bustle of the streets nearby in the other districts made it hard to focus on the Creatures.   Danica focused on each animal individually. “ The boar is near a Fruits stand.. . “ Danica Paused for a moment “The Lion is by the butchers, the tiger is not for from that either. “ she thought about it  for a moment “ I can’t find the elephant though. Or the snake for some reason. the Rhino is at the far gate. He would be the Easiest to get back we should Try him first.” Danica Sated releasing the Hand sign and opening her eyes.

Danica Moved forwards through the Market district. It seemed odd not having to shove past people to get around.  She Was in no obvious hurry, mostly because she didn’t quite have a backup plan if her Genjutsu didn’t work. As she made her way down one of the narrow street she paused and looked to Kuro “ I noticed you didn’t bring your Club” she said  half teasing him, knowing full well it was a sword. “ I appreciate that you understand the missions details.”

Danica then Started to move again, as she rounded the next stall she seen the large Grey creature. She wasn’t sure she wanted to make her Presence known to the beast yet. She had to first figure out what she was going to do.

He of course followed along with her, listening to everything that she had to say to him and understanding that she was making various judgement about the locations of the animals they happened to be in pursuit of. He felt like he was a zoo-keeper, that this kind of job was ultimately beneath him, effectively making it so that he couldn't actually display his vast array of talents because he was stuck here babysitting a bunch of loose animals. But at least he was doing it with a woman he found himself being closer with as they completed mission after mission. He wanted a chance to get to know her on a more personal level, though they picked missions that didn't really allow for any down time. At least this was as good a time as any. He heard her state that she was appreciative that he didn't bring his weapon, knowing that it was a symbol of death no doubt. He didn't get to fully relieve his stress on that thief from the last mission they took, but that was fine. She was fine now...and that was all that mattered to the giant.

"Well, I am glad you noticed me senpai." He joked with her as he crossed his arms and continued forward, waiting for anything to happen on this questionably paced mission.

At least they would get paid right?

"You a first generation Shinobi? I don't recall hearing of the Tem'Naka clan, though I don't ever have the chance to see other groups because my own family keeps me business." He was careful with phrasing, if she was from a proud family not hearing of them and being from the same village could be easily seen as some sort of insult.

"Hmm, well there is our target. How are we going to take her down." He was not sure what to do with...animals. He only ever killed animals, and not even harmless animals.

Danica nodded “ I am the first of my family to even consider it” She explained  peeking out to the Large Grey beast.  She thought about it for a moment.  Rhino’s were vegetarian.. “ Do you think you could find something a Rhino would want to eat?  Maybe if its hungry it will come willingly. If not ill attempt to use Genjutsu. And lastly if that fails id like you to attempt to Restrain it with your Braided wire” She was still Trying to Figure out how one would  get an 3-4 tonne animal that didn’t want to move to move?  That could be dealt with as they came across it.   Danica Turned around the Corner Squaring off with the beast  There there, we are here to take you home big guy. There’s no need to Be Frightened. She said wandering closer to it.  it didn’t seem to be bothered by her presence, and she spoke softly and calmly despite being face to face with an animal that could Trample her to death without a Second Thought.

Danica managed to touch her hand onto the Rhinos horn. Brushing her soft hands down over its face. She rubbed its nose and around the base of its horn. “See I’m not so bad am I?” she said still in a hushed tone, hoping the Kuro would find something that would entice it to follow them.   The other factor was being able to take it into the public area between the Zoo and the market district.  Without its focus being lost or it deciding to Rampage, she had an idea that would help.  And with the Creatures Primitive mind it would likely work.  She knew a Genjutsu that made it so the target was unsure of where they were and Danica could change the sense of Direction of the Targets mind.  This would make it seem like where they wanted to go is the way that they are waling when really Danica would control the Direction it walked.  She hoped that the food would be enough,  if she could go this whole mission without seeing if Genjutsu worked on animals she would be fine.   She might even attempt it at a later date in a controlled environment.  But she didn’t want to seem useless to Kuro.

Danica Remained Petting the Massive beast as it Stood calmly eating The Grass that had grown around a few of the Stands.  If Kuro wasn’t quick the Rhino would lily move on to a new location and Danica and im would have to move the beast Even Further then planed.  If Genjutsu had to be used for all of the animals then by the end of this day Danica would be down for the count. She might even sleep all the next day too from being so mental exhausted

Re: Lion's Tiger's and Kuro, oh my! [D Ranked Mission]

Post by Kurokyōfu on Sun Jul 12, 2015 3:39 pm

He heard her of course, nothing that she was indeed just a s brilliant as she had let on, she knew how to handle animals pretty well, mayhaps she came from a family of farmers? Was that the way she managed to achieve the level of success shown? Perhaps so, but he wouldn't dwell on such random factors. Placing his hands inside of his pocket he nodded at the girl with a soft 'Aye' as he turned away and went towards the area of the marketplace that seemed to sell food. He knew exactly what to get the Rhino after-all, he and that rhino were both beasts, though it was clear that Kuro was far more intense in his choice of food, being more of a omnivore than this creature, but that was all irrelevant information. Making sure that he moved as swiftly as he possibly could, running and dodging the various obstacles presented in the form of pedestrians and merchants, he made sure that he payed the right amount of money to get both a bag, and to fill said bag up with vegetables and fruits in case this tactic was to be repeated later.

He nodded to the merchant who supplied him with the fresh goods and proceeded to make his way back to the previously known location of his teammate. He wasn't the fastest guy around, nor did he actually make use of the Body Flicker Technique on a regular basis, but he was at least the kind of person who often found himself remembering directions well. Being a native he was able to make use of a back-alley so that he could easily scale to the top of a nearby building with little effort, approaching his partner he could see that she had the situation mostly under control, and so he made use of that extra time to pull out what appeared to be a leek, which he knew that they feed them in at least this local zoo so that the animals had both the nutrients they craved for and chakra due to it being rich in these kinds of food. It was why his aunt liked to use them in her noodle bowls. He smirked as he leaped down, landing effortlessly, walking towards his comrade and extending the leek so that it drew the attention of the Rhino from the grass it was munching on. Even animals knew what a quality meal looked like.

"I got some more food just in case, in my pack. It's odor locked so we don't have to worry about the Rhino catching wind of those treats either." He told her as the rhino approached him, he looked at his comrade, speaking once more.

"Alright, that's one down, let's lead him on back first so that he doesn't clash with the other animals." He stated the obvious but he liked to reassure his comrades of his actions, even if they weren't the most obstructive.

After two minutes he had lead the creature back, though he had to feed it twice the amount of leeks that he planned, he still had some left over for any other animal who acted on their more bestial qualities. Hunger was a powerful tool of persuasion after-all. He dusted himself off and zipped up the patch as a caretaker led the animal inside, urging them to continue onward until they found all of the creatures. Giving the care-taker a thumbs up he looked back at Danica, so that she could locate the next creature.

“leeks? She asked a bit surprised as she smelled the air. Immediately the Rhino seemed to go for the Fresh leeks. She had to admit that Kuro found a good treat for them. As they lead the Large Grey Creature towards the zoo, Danica Along the way was still wondering about how she couldn’t find the elephant. Maybe it was just so large that she could have over looked it as a Building or large Tent poles.

After they Arrived back into the Area she looked around “ I think we should get the boar while there is still any Fruits left over there. It might lead to where the Snake or elephant is” she said flashing a quick smile. Danica Moved towards a near buy Building quickly Jumping up and kicking off the wall she managed to get her finger tips around the Roof and pulled herself up quickly. She made sure her feet had grip on the clay roof. She offered a hand down to Kuro. She knew he didn’t need the help but it was a nice gesture to do.

Danica would stand holding her left elbow with her dominate hand and pulled her Shoulders towards one another as she Stretched her arms she then lifted her hands up over her head and arched her back forwards brining her hands down and Finally Resting her hands on her hips. A Boar would be rather stubborn and might need more convincing than a Rhino. What worried her more was the potential that the lion and tiger have the capability to kill the Boar.

Danica Turned and Pointed” it was out that way before. She Smirked and hopped off the roof to another nearby shorter building. She made her way towards the location the boar was, she stopped on the roof tops under were the boar was still munching away on a water melon. Danica figured A boar smaller and much easily spooked then the Larger Rhino. She turned to Kuro “ I think this is one that your wire will do best against, I don’t see away that we can Catch him if he runs off, we have one chance or we will have to find it again.. Ill distract it” she said Shift and silently slipping off the roof and to the far side of the building. She positioned herself so that she was on one side of the boar, and kuro was on the other. She went out into the open and quietly approached the boar “Hey there pork chop, You enjoying your melons?, I think its about time you go home though don’t you?” she Asked the beast. The boar quickly turned Towards Danica and Snorted.

Danica Watched it carefully it didn’t seem like it was going to charge. But now by its position Kuro could get it from behind easily. She took a deep Breath Knowing that at any moment this beast could Charge at her. She had to trust that if things went wrong kuro would be there to help out.
